Robbie has been responsible for numerous successful projects and is considered a leading specialist within the industry in South Africa.
Buks Zeeman
Director: Engineering Services
Buks Zeeman joined us in February 2007. Buks holds a Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Stellenbosch and he has made a significant impact on the contractual side of our business. The fantastic experience Buks gained while working at Pearl Valley (as resident engineer and later as the estate manager) and within Africon’s golf division shines through and we are proud to offer his services to our clients.
Sean Quinn
Design Principal
Sean Quinn, GOLF DATA’s course designer and the Nicklaus Design Associate in Southern Africa, has a hands-on approach to the construction of all GOLF DATA’s projects. Sean has over 18 years’ experience in the construction and design industry working closely with other designers both in South Africa and Internationally and has built up a fine reputation with our many clients.
Gary Waage
Director of Construction
Gary Waage, who has been with us since 1996, has been appointed Director of Construction in June 2006 and assumes responsibility for the division that has been responsible for all our turnkey and renovation projects. Gary previously was the Joint General Manager of Golf Data Maintenance (Gauteng) and served that business with distinction.
Matthew Johnstone
Director: Maintenance
Matthew Johnstone heads up the Maintenance operations, which include Country Club Johannesburg, Parkview Golf Club, Pecanwood Golf Estate, Reading Golf Club, Killarney Golf Club, Gardener Ross Golf Estate as well as the landscaping operation. Matthew is based at Country Club Johannesburg.
Geoff Hindle
Director of Developments
Geoff is the former Managing Director of Maccon SA. He has been responsible for the development of Pecanwood and brings more than 20 years’ of property experience to our Team.
Hannes Bester
Group Finance Executive
Hannes joined Golf Data in 2009 and brings with him a wealth of local and International Financial Management experience.
Mark Hair
MD Golf Data Maintenance Western Cape
Mark Hair is the director in charge of golf course maintenance operations in the Cape. This division currently looks after 8 golf courses. Mark has more than 20 years’ experience in the golf industry.
